The context
Egged, Israel's largest public-transport company, expanded its service to on-demand ride-sharing shuttles. Running them needed a digital and technical foundation connecting riders, shuttle drivers and operators.

What had to change
Build everything for a fixed launch date: cloud and server side, two native apps, ongoing QA and integration with Egged's legacy software, with dedicated product and technical managers.

- Delivery
- PlanningWe mapped every requirement for launch, and our dev team proposed options for each one.
- PaymentsPayment options, including discounted fares for seniors and a move to the EMV standard.
- BuildCloud and server-side development, two native apps and ongoing QA.
- After launchSupporting and improving the live service.

Key decision
Don't build everything from scratch.
Maps, routing and timing came from third-party solutions, which we integrated with Egged's existing platforms. That kept the launch on schedule.

Results
The service launched on the original date. It ran as a pilot subsidized by the Ministry of Transport, in Jerusalem and Haifa, and ended in 2022–2023.
